The ISA Robotic Pallet Packing Station is built around a 110 kg-capacity industrial robot — the fastest palletising robot in the world — capable of packing up to 90 bags of ice per minute when paired with three Automatic Bagging Stations, or 60 bags per minute with two.
Overview
Full Robotic Pallet Packing Station — the pallet dispenser feeds an empty pallet via powered rollers and hoist to the robot, which packs the load. The pallet then lowers onto powered rollers, transfers to an automatic wrapper, and dispenses to a forklift pick-up area. Operator-free from dispense to dispatch.
Robotic Pallet Packer ("Rear Pack" / "Over Pickup") — a more compact configuration where the operator loads an empty pallet directly onto an SW2 wrapper. The Travelling Bag Box lowers over the pallet, signals the robot to start packing, and the operator only returns once both pallets are packed and wrapped.
The palletising robot can also be retro-fitted to existing plants and applied to products other than ice — meaning the same investment scales beyond the original ice line.
